My weight loss journey

After giving birth to my fourth daughter (yes you read this correctly fourth daughter) I was unable to get rid of all the weight I gained during pregnancy. Pre pregnancy I weighted 145 and post pregnancy I weighed 198. I was the heavies I had been in my life. I'm only 5'2 so all this weight took it's toll on me. I couldn't sleep at night becuase my body would feel tingly after laying on one side for a while. I was always out of breath and couldn't keep up with my daughters. I was depressed and over ate to make me feel better. Finally one day after looking at some pictures of myself I decided that enough is enough. I told my husband that I wanted to join a gym and together we went to 24 hour fitness. I will be the first to admit that it was hard to keep at it. There would be plenty of times when I just wanted to say forget this. However I kept at it and soon I started to see results. I really enjoyed the group x classes (especially Zumba & TKB) and it seemed that the hour went by quick. It will now be 2 years in March that my husband and I joined 24 hour fitness and I am about 60 lbs lighter and feel the healthiest I have in my life. I'm now able to keep up with the crazy lifestyle of having 4 children and a husband, work full time and still make it to the gym at least 4 times a week. I am so glad I decided to join 24 hour fitness!
